This was a focused first version, not a promise that every complete app will be delivered in six days.

Your coaching business has grown. Your systems may not have grown with it.

You may currently be managing different parts of the client experience across a mixture of:

  • 01WhatsApp messages
  • 02PDFs and workout documents
  • 03Spreadsheets
  • 04Booking platforms
  • 05Payment tools
  • 06Progress photos
  • 07Check-in forms
  • 08Exercise videos
  • 09Educational resources
  • 10Client information

Those tools may have helped the business reach this point. A focused app can now make the experience easier to deliver, easier to understand and more recognisably yours.

Give clients one place to work with you.

A custom coaching app can support the parts of your service that matter most. These are examples, not a fixed feature package.

  1. 01Workout and programme delivery
  2. 02Progress tracking
  3. 03Client check-ins
  4. 04Exercise demonstrations

Start with the part that creates immediate value.

The first release is shaped around your most important workflow or client experience. The wider product can evolve after people are using it.

Explore the first release

Your app can feel as considered as your coaching brand.

A custom product does not need to look like a generic fitness platform. Its tone, content hierarchy and member experience can be shaped around how you coach and how your business wants to be recognised.

Visual direction is part of the product

Avantra can explore a restrained premium treatment like this, or work within an established identity. The goal is a product that feels recognisably yours and remains clear in daily use.

From project agreement to a working fitness app in six days.

A personal trainer needed a focused product that clients could use, without waiting for every future idea to be included. Avantra prioritised the core coaching experience, delivered it quickly and kept improving it through real use.

  1. 01

Identify the workflow or client experience that would create the most immediate value.

  2. 02

    Define a focused first release

Turn the idea into a practical, prioritised delivery plan.

  3. 03

    See it working quickly

Receive a real working version early, before every future feature is complete.

  4. 04

    Test it with real clients

Learn from actual use, behaviour and feedback.

    Launch with support

Avantra can manage or support the technical App Store and Google Play launch process.

  7. 07

    Continue with a product partner

Keep the app reliable and add new opportunities after launch.

We can take care of the path to launch.

Building the app is only part of the journey. If you prefer to stay focused on coaching, Avantra can guide or manage the technical launch process through Apple's App Store and Google Play.

Your app can be published through accounts owned by your business, while we take care of the technical submission and release work.
  • Developer account setup guidance
  • App identifiers and signing
  • Build preparation
  • App Store and Google Play submissions
  • Store listings, descriptions and metadata
  • Store screenshots and required assets
  • Privacy information and questionnaires
  • Review-process and rejection support
  • Release management
  • Future updates and version submissions

Your accounts stay yours.

The preferred arrangement is for your business to own and control its Apple Developer and Google Play accounts. Avantra can guide setup and perform the technical submission work with the necessary access.

Apple and Google control account approval, app review decisions and review timing. Required legal, privacy, regulatory and business information must still be supplied or approved by you.

You always know what is happening.

Your brief becomes a clear live delivery plan. As work progresses, you can see what has been completed, what is underway and what comes next. A weekly report keeps the full picture clear without requiring constant meetings or status chasing.

  • Dedicated project communication channel
  • Live and current delivery plan
  • Visible progress throughout development
  • Completed work, current priorities and next steps
  • Feedback captured directly into delivery

The capability of a product team. Directly led by a senior engineer.

Every project is led directly by an experienced senior engineer. Product, architecture, quality, release and security decisions receive senior oversight from the start.

  • Direct access to the person leading delivery
  • Mature processes that improve speed and consistency
  • Automation supports expertise, never accountability
  • The same professional standard at every project size

You focus on coaching. We handle the technical side.

Practical questions, answered clearly.

A serious product decision should come with clear terms, visible responsibilities and no hidden assumptions.

Discuss your questions
Who owns the app and source code?

The agreed ownership and intellectual-property terms are documented in the project agreement. Avantra’s intended standard is that the client owns the commissioned product and source code once contractual payment obligations are met, subject to any clearly disclosed third-party components or licences.

Can the app be published through my own accounts?

Yes. The preferred arrangement is for the app to be published through Apple Developer and Google Play accounts controlled by your business.

Can Avantra submit the app for me?

Yes. With the appropriate access and information, Avantra can manage technical preparation, submission, review support and release on your behalf. Apple and Google retain final authority over account and app approval.

What if I do not have developer accounts yet?

Avantra can guide you through setting up the required Apple Developer and Google Play accounts and explain their third-party fees. Those fees are not included automatically unless your agreement says otherwise.

Can I manage programmes and content myself?

Yes. Administrative tools or content management can be included where they create value for your project.

What ongoing services might be needed?

Hosting and third-party services depend on usage and product requirements. Any expected ongoing services will be explained before implementation rather than hidden inside vague recurring fees.

Can I add features later?

Yes. The delivery model is designed to support continued improvements after the focused first release.

What happens after launch?

Support, maintenance, monitoring, store updates and feature development can continue through separately agreed work or an ongoing product partnership.

How is data protection handled?

Security and UK GDPR requirements are considered during planning and implementation. The exact approach depends on the data collected, product functionality, third-party services and your business responsibilities. Avantra does not make legal guarantees.

Will it handle health-related information?

Potentially, but the product and compliance approach must be designed around the precise type and sensitivity of the information involved. Medical-device or regulated-health compliance is not assumed unless it is explicitly scoped.

How quickly will I see something?

Avantra aims to put a focused working version in your hands quickly, often within days for suitably scoped projects. The full timeline depends on scope, integrations, store-account setup, existing systems and compliance requirements.

Do I need to fund a large platform from the start?

No. The first release is shaped around the smallest useful product that can create meaningful value for your business and clients. That can make the starting point more accessible than commissioning a broad platform upfront. Where the opportunity calls for something larger, the scope can expand around the business case rather than forcing every client into the same package.

Your coaching app does not need to begin as a huge platform.

Start with the part that creates the most value for your business and your clients. See it working, learn from real use and build from there.
